APPLICATION

Core Pins in Real Mold Applications

FAQ

Questions Buyers Ask

What is the difference between a core pin and an ejector pin?

A core pin forms the internal geometry of a part (holes, bosses, cavities). An ejector pin pushes the finished part out of the mold. We supply both.

What steels do you use for core pins?

SKD61 and SKD11 are standard, with coated options for abrasive resins. Higher-alloy grades available for demanding applications.

Can you make custom core pins?

Yes — custom diameters, steps, lengths and shapes machined to your drawing with full dimensional report.

What tolerances can you hold?

Diameter grinding to ±0.002 mm; positional accuracy verified on CMM before shipment.

How fast can you deliver?

Standard series 3–7 days; custom core pins 7–15 days depending on heat treatment.
